This octagonal-shaped tile is painted in golden lustre and cobalt blue with touches of turquoise. In the centre is a pair of haloed figures seated above a pond with an aquatic bird flying above. The white border is filled with an inscription band in the ‘naskh’ script and it includes the month, Jumada-Al-Awwal and the year AH 627 (equivalent to March/April 1230 CE).
