This manuscript comprises a stack of palm leaves with finely incised script with the Vinaya Pitaka (monastic rules). It is held together with painted wood covers and brass pins.The wrapper is made of commercially woven silk and cotton cloth, now with extensive wear and tear, and the ribbon (sazigyo) has a range of tablet woven Buddhist motifs and an inscription set against several bands of pastel colours.
