This greyish-brown jacket with folded sleeves belonged to the late Christina Lee (1923-2009). It comes with a matching skirt (2009-03696). The suit is believed to be made in London in a shop called Jacqmar. Christina Lee was the former wife of Loke Wan Tho, the founder and chairman of Cathay Organisation. An accomplished photographer, perfumer and businesswoman, she was a style icon who was remembered for her poise, elegance and impeccable fashion sense. In 1965, she was named by Vogue magazine as one of the most beautiful women in Singapore.
