This working attire set consisting of a short-sleeved shirt with pants belonged to Dr. Toh Chin Chye, founding Chairman of the People's Action Party (PAP). This was the official wear that Dr. Toh was seen in during his political career. Dr. Toh also served as Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister from 1959-1968, Minister for Science and Technology (1968-1975) and Minister for Health (1975-1981) before retiring from politics in 1988.
