This is a Montblanc postcard advertisement autographed by Hong Kong movie star Lin Dai. It was purchased during a vacation trip to Hong Kong by donor Mdm. Liong Tsing Ju, a Pu-Tian Fujianese who was married in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, on 8 May 1950. She settled down in Singapore with her husband and children in 1961.Lin Dai (1934-1964) was a famous Chinese actress in Hong Kong films. She was awarded the Best Actress at the Asia Pacific Film Festival four times for her outstanding performances in a number of films produced by Shaw Studio.The donor, Mdm. Liong Tsing Ju is a Pu-Tian Fujianese who was married in Sembilan, Malaysia, on 8 May 1950. She settled down in Singapore with her husband and children in 1961.
