This jewellery set comprising a pair of pendant earrings and a brooch has exquisite gold filigree work and carving of flowers in high relief. The jewellery comes in its original ivory box (carved with flowers and figures) in mint condition which is rare. The earrings and brooch were made by Lee Ching, a prolific silversmith and jewellery firm operating at various locations in Guangzhou and Hong Kong from the 1840s to 1880s. The jewellery was most probably intended for export or for foreign residents in China.
