This is one of the five stamps issued as a set by Singapore Post on 28 August 2008 to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Republic Singapore Air Force (RSAF). The stamps portray RSAF’s capabilities by showing their specialists at work. The stamps were designed by Sam Hong. This 80-cent stamp features a RSAF air engineering officer and a senior technician.
