Lock found at Old Parliament House site

This lock was found during the Old Parliament House archaeological site dig (carried out between November 1994 and January 1995), in the 14th century soil strata.Artefacts found at the dig site included Chinese porcelain from the late 14th to early 15th centuries, over 100 Chinese coins, as well as large quantities of copper and bronze objects in the form of wires, fish hooks, small bars and bells.
