Singapore International Film Festival’s Silver Screen Award for Best Film (Singapore Short Film)

The Singapore International Film Festival (SIFF) is an annual film event which showcases both international and local ‘art-house’ films, with a strong emphasis on Asian films. The festival screens more than 200 films annually. It was first held in 1987. The SIFF inaugurated the Silver Screen Awards in 1991 to provide recognition to the film makers and their work.
