Berth at the Seletar Yacht Club

The Seletar Yacht Club was built for members of the British Royal Air Force (RAF) stationed in Seletar. The station headquarters used to stand on the site before making way for the yacht club. The club was officially opened by Air Commodore S.W. Smith, OBE, Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Far East in February 1934 and had welcomed many distinguished guests including Lord and Lady Mountbatten and the King of Siam.
