Collection of
Cavenagh Bridge, seen on the bottom right, was built in 1869 and named after the last Governor of the Straits Settlement, Colonel Orfeur Cavenagh. Anderson Bridge, opened on 12 March 1910, was named after Sir John Anderson, Governor of the Straits Settlements from 1904 to 1911. Anderson Bridge helped to ease the load of traffic over Cavenagh Bridge.
