This Hokkien vinyl record titled ‘Xiang Ting Zhong Bai Nian’ (向听众拜年) features pop songs by singer Chen Mei Feng (陈美凤), with accompanying music by the band The Travellers (旅者乐队, Lǚzheyuedui). The 45 rpm record was produced by the Hong Kong-based LIFE Records (香港丽风唱片有限公司, Xiangganglifengchangpianyouxiangongsi).
