Designed by Swan and Maclaren, Raffles Hotel was established by the Armenian Sarkies brothers in 1887. The main dining hall, equipped with ceiling fans, covered the entire ground floor of the hotel. It had the capacity to seat up to 500 people. and offered guests a cool and comfortable dining experience.
