This embroidered funerary cover is believed to be one of the largest in Singapore dating from the last century. It is filled with auspicious Chinese symbols. The borders flanking the two lengths of the rectangular cover feature embroidered scenes from Er Shi Si Xiao (The Twenty-four Paragons of Filial Devotion), a book compiled by Guo Jujing (1280–1368 CE), a Yuan Dynasty poet well-known for his filial piety in mourning the death of his father.
