This jar of baluster form has a wide flanged mouth, tubular neck and an ovoid body that tapers to a pedestal foot. Covered unevenly with a dark brown glaze, it is decorated with incised concentric circles and other patterns on the shoulder and the foot. Vessels of this type were probably used as a funerary jar.
