This pair of anklets was made with sheet gold over a resin or clay core. By this time, Javanese craftsman were skilled in the techniques of chasing, granulation and filigree, hence ornaments of this period tended to be intricate and elaborate in design. They include V-shaped ornaments with many pointed projections, clips in the form of conch and discs, and incised gold rings.
