'Sri Mersing' is a Cathay-Keris film directed by Salleh Ghani. The film is about Damaq, a man who decides to start a new life in another village with his family. One day, he saves Sri, who is harassed by Awang. Unhappy after losing a challenge with Damaq, Awang creates a slanderous story that forces Damaq and his family out of the village.
