This 'blangkon' or headgear is made of batik material and is worn by men. This particular type of 'blangkon' has a lump or 'mondholan' at the back, imitating the practice of tying up the hair into a bun.The blangkon forms part of the traditional attire of Javanese men worn during formal and special occasions.
