This silver seated image of Shiva sits in a casual pose. This is a popular figure probably mass produced during the 18th century for devotees. The most interesting part of this sculpture is the captured face of Ganga, goddess of the river Ganges, which can be seen through the matted hair of Shiva, that is tied up like a conical cap.
