A traditional Chinese wedding is concluded with the wedding banquet which takes place after the bride and groom have gone through a number of customary rites during the course of the day, such as the tea ceremony. While feasting at a grand banquet, the newlyweds circulate amongst their friends and relatives as they raise a toast to one another.
