This is a beautiful pichhavai painting with a dark blue background. It has three flowering trees under which 'gopi', cowherd women, gather in attendance holding flower garlands, baskets of 'puja' (ritual worship) material, food and drink. The iconography of this pichhavai is called the 'Sharad Purnima pichhavai', one that should be used on the full moon festival in the month of Ashvin.
