Chan See Shu Yuen Temple, originally the clan house (kongsi) of the Yuen family, is the largest and oldest in Kuala Lumpur. Completed in 1906, the temple has a distinct Guangdong folk architecture that is seen in its ornate pottery roof. Also notable are the terracotta friezes that depict scenes from Chinese history and mythology.
