Born in Malaysia, 1942, Cheah Thien Soong is a renowned contemporary ink painter who has participated in exhibitions all over the world. He played an integral role in establishing the Seremban Institute of Art in 1985 and he also lectured Oriental Art in the Malaysian Institute of Art.
