Born in 1971 in Navotas, Manila in Philippnies, Ronaldo Ruiz was one of the Culture Centre of the Philippines Thirteen Artists Awardees by the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 2003. He is recognized for his significant contributions to contemporary arts in Philippines. A co-founder of performance art group Tupada Action and Media Art in Philippines, Ruiz is also the secretary for the Art Association of the Philippines.
