This photograph show a small Indian girl posing with her hands folded. She is wearing a sari made from a shawl. She is also wearing a checkered sarong as the underskirt for the sari. However, it is not well tied as it has loose ends and is lopsided. She is wearing a metal bangle on each wrist and a clip on her left as her only jewelry. She is surrounded by trees and grass which might be just outsider her house or village where the picture was taken.
