Muse SG Volume 8, Issue 3
This issue focuses on the Singapore River and its place both in our history and current historical precinct. The recently launched Singapore River Walk highlights the various historic sites and the various individuals and communities who lived and worked by the river. Held from 23 October to 31 October 2015, the River Nights showcased the revitalisation of Empress Place Precinct and Boat Quay into a creative playground for both artists and visitors.

Complementing these efforts to bring heritage to the community, the recently revamped galleries and exhibitions at the National Museum of Singapore and Asian Civilisations Museum are also featured in this issue. The new galleries use shared memories, interactive exhibits and outreach programmes to make heritage relevant and accessible for all.
