This article discusses the glass plate negative preservation project undertaken by the Paper Conservation team at the Heritage Conservation Centre (HCC), Singapore in early 2012.
This historically significant collection of early landscape and portrait photography in Singapore belongs to the National Heritage Board (NHB) and numbers approximately 1,700 plates dating from the late 19th and early 20th century.
