Pegboard mosaic toy

Gifted to the donor by her grandmother, this pegboard mosaic toy features a plastic pegboard base and a buckle-fastened blue storage basket containing mushroom-shaped pegs in three sizes and various colors. Over seven years, it served as both a creative outlet for design experimentation and a catalyst for bonding with the donor's grandmother through shared play sessions. Beyond its basic components and included design templates, the toy's open-ended nature promotes fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and imaginative thinking through both independent and collaborative play.
