Gift of Antonio and May in loving memory of Leonie Theresa Daroya Koenitz.

This bolero jacket was owned by Leonie Koenitz, who was one of the first fashion models trained in Singapore at Joan Booty and Ruth Warner's Mannequin Training and Charm School, which opened in 1956. Richards was a British high street retailer of women's fashion. The Opera label was a line that featured more formal styles, such as this bolero jacket with twisted gold and black satin cords running along the hem and closures of the garment.
