After resigning from her position as Vice-Dean of IKJ in 2001, Dolorosa further focused her practice on issues faced by women in their different roles. Solidarity is a depiction of women marching for affordable milk during the economic crisis of 1998 and was donated to Indonesia’s National Commission on Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan). As a manifestation and execution of Dolorosa’s political ideology, Solidarity and We Will Fight are intentionally made as open editions, with their image rights made free for human rights organizations' to use. In these works, Dolorosa constantly negotiates between the reproducibility potential of sculpture and the notion of authenticity, emphasising inclusivity of their political and religious content.
