Machete presented to British officer by Iban chief during Konfrontasi

This machete was given to a British officer, Lieutenant Bob Cheah, when he was posted to Borneo during Konfrontasi. It was a gift from a local Iban chief who lived near where Lieutenant Cheah’s unit was stationed. Lieutenant Cheah later joined the Singapore Armed Forces in 1969 and served until his retirement.
