This tile depicts an unusual scene with caricatured figures within floral borders. On top is a gentleman sporting a green turban, which suggests that he could be a 'mullah' - an honorific title, widely used in Iran and Afghanistan, for Muslim religious leaders learned in Islamic theology and law. A strange, mythical animal with a long snout and cusped tail wraps around him, either as protection or entrapment. Two figures in blue turbans and tunics sit below him but they sport human bodies and animal faces, suggesting a critique of possibly particular religious leaders.
