This group of sketches are from Andrew Gn's Resort 2016 collection. The collection was titled “Persian Garden” and was inspired by Persian ceramics with a graphic take on carnations, marigolds, and tulips that are prevalent in Persian tiles and ancient ceramics. The show featured materials that showcase opulence such fil coupé fabric, heavy textured jacquard, multicoloured thread embroidery, and iridescent beads and crystals. Gn’s sketches serve as starting points of his elaborate design process.Andrew Gn is one of Singapore’s most prolific fashion designers in history, achieving high levels of critical acclaim and industry success.
