Record sleeve of Diamond Records collection of ‘popular music’

This album cover from the Diamond Records collection belonged to Zubir Said, composer of Singapore’s national anthem, Majulah Singapura. Diamond Records, based in Hong Kong, was active in the 1960s and primarily featured popular music from the Mandarin and English scenes. While Zubir Said did not compose these tracks, the record was part of his personal collection. This record, like others in Zubir Said’s collection, highlights his broader interest in diverse musical styles and record labels.
