This is a portrait of Doreen Tan Kien Leng (1939 – 2014). She married David Choong Ewe Leong (1929 – 2011) on 1 January 1966. The style of this portrait is modelled after the ancestral portraits of her husband's paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Choong Lye Hock. The wooden frame and reverse glass painting border have been faithfully replicated.
