This is a booklet containing information on entry to Singapore issued by the Singapore government in 1959, when self-governance was established in Singapore. The booklet was printed by Lam Yeong Press, which was owned by Mr Seow Peck Heng, the first president of the Master Printers Association. Master Printers Association was established in 1937 to represent the printing companies in Singapore. This was in response to the labour strikes from workers who were demanding higher pay and better working conditions.
