Logbook for the East India Company’s Ship Charles Grant

This is the logbook of British East India Company cargo vessel “Charles Grant.” Built at Bombay in 1810, the East Indiaman cargo vessel was owned by William Moffat. The ship made 12 voyages for the East India Company from 1810 to 1833. The logbook contains information such as the ship’s company, passenger records and route destinations: Bombay, Singapore, China, St Helena, England, Lintin and Whampoa Beach.
