This collection of Letraset items include sheets of typefaces that could be manually transferred by rubbing down onto a surface for the purpose of labelling or crafts. These Letraset sheets were used extensively by professionals and amateur graphic designers, architects and artists from the 1960s to 1980s. With its ease of use, amateurs could also use Letraset sheets to produce affordable and attractive artwork of professional appearance. By the late 1980s, Letrasets were replaced by desktop publishing with the proliferation of digitzed art.
