This sticker was one of the publicity materials used as part of the national School Savings Campaign during the 1980s and 1990s. The nationwide campaign was introduced in 1969 to help promote the virtue of thriftiness among students, as well as to encourage them to save. Stickers were but one among other various types of collaterals in association with the campaign, which included bookmarks, memo pads, T-shirts, calendars and the like.
