This teacup is conical in shape, with an everted rim (filled with the eight Buddhist emblems) which is scalloped and gilded on the edges, and feature the standard floral motif. Although most Straits Chinese teacups are small and range in size from 3.5 to 7 cm in diameter, there are also larger teacups which come together with matching covers.
