This 'phaa tung' or sarong is woven with silk and cotton weft-ikat bands. The silk portion has a colourful composition of weft-ikat and supplementary weft bands while the cotton part is dyed a plain dark indigo. Women of all ages wear the phaa tung made of either silk or cotton in this region.
