Sylvia Kho is one of Singapore’s earliest and most well-known bridal gown designers. Her career began in 1946 when she sold her bridal headdress creations to shops in High Street. She subsequently set up her own bridal shop in Tanglin Shopping Centre in the early 1960s and continued to expand her business in the mid to late 1970s. Kho’s bridal salons were one of the first in Singapore to offer a comprehensive range of wedding services.
