Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan, a husband and wife team of artists, often create art through the process of collecting and involving the local community with themes that include relocation, identity, memory and family. Alfredo graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the Anglia Polytechnic, United Kingdom while Isabel holds a Bachelor of Communication Arts degree from the Assumption College, Philippines. Together, they have held several solo shows and were represented at the 2nd Singapore Biennale (2008), Adelaide Biennale (2008), Biennale of Sydney (2006) and the 50th Venice Biennale (2003).
