A rare and unusual hand-drawn silk 'kain panjang' believed to have come from Madura. It is in an abstracted style similar to the famous 'mega mendung' (rain cloud) and 'terang bulan' (moonshine) motifs more common to the Northern coastal or Pasisir batiks of Cirebon and Pekalongan. It is thought to have been made between 1900 and 1920.
