This globular jarlet incised lobed walls and is covered with a dark copper-green glaze.Copper-green glazed wares such as this, made a brief appearance in the 14th century. They reflect a desire to emulate Chinese wares in an attempt to capture a share of the export market for high-fired glazed ceramics.
