This saffron pleated silk shirt was donated by local style connoisseur Samuel Wong. He also donated several other items to the National Museum of Singapore (NMS) in conjunction with a menswear donation drive organised by NMS and Style Magazine. Some of the items were displayed in the ‘Stylo Mylo: A Selection of Men’s Fashion in Singapore’ exhibition held at the museum in 2006, which showcased three decades of men’s fashion in Singapore.
