Introduced in Singapore in April 2020 as a response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, safe distancing ambassadors have since become a common sight in neighbourhoods, train stations, markets and food courts in Singapore. This series of 18 photographs by Brian Teo documents the roles played by these ambassadors in educating the public on the etiquette and importance of proper mask wearing, and keeping a safe distance from others.
