Gift of Genevieve Peggy Jeffs

This is a coat designed by Ann Demeulemeester, a member of the Antwerp Six designers who presented a radical vision for fashion and first presented their collections at London Fashion Week in 1986. This coat was donated by Genevieve Peggy Jeffs, a society doyenne and philanthropist known for her striking style. Jeffs purchased and wore this coat whilst living in London and appreciated its softness and warmth during the colder months.
