Between 1974 and 1988, reservists with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) were eligible to apply for a HDB flat under the SAF Housing Priority Scheme. There was a points-based system used to shortlist applicants for a priority flat, and points were allocated based on contributions such as attending in-camp training and marching at National Day Parades. This letter from the SAF Reservists Association (SAFRA) certified that a reservist was eligible for points under the scheme.
