Appointment certificate to Tiong Bahru CC Management Committee for 1971–1972

This is a certificate appointing Mr Cheng Choon Eng to the Management Committee of Tiong Bahru Community Centre. The seal of Mr Jek Yeun Thong, then-Deputy Chairman of the People's Association, is visible at bottom right. Mr Cheng served on the Tiong Bahru CC Management Committee from 1968 – 1990, among a number of other grassroots roles, for which he was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 1983 and the Public Service Star (BBM) in 1991.
